About Oasis

Oasis is a legendary English rock band formed in Manchester in 1991 that defined the 1990s Britpop movement. Led by the turbulent partnership of brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher, the band achieved global superstardom with their record-breaking debut album Definitely Maybe (1994) and its massive follow-up (What's the Story) Morning Glory? (1995), which featured timeless anthems like "Wonderwall" and "Don't Look Back in Anger." Known for their raw, Beatles-inspired guitar melodies, brash working-class attitude, and intense sibling rivalry, they became one of the most successful and culturally influential acts in British music history before acrimoniously disbanding in 2009.
